All are packed and in bed.....

I hope!
LOL
I'm on a break from hall duty to send you all greetings!
We have an early early morning call that will set in motion our trip home.
I assure you that there is much more in the luggage than we started with!
Thanks to all of you at home who have been following us!
A VERY special thanks to many of the parents who went above the
call of duty and helped make my trip easier! When a teacher chooses to
take responsibility for parents and students on such a large endeavor, being
cooperative and helpful goes so far to encourage a director to consider another trip!
Deepest thanks go to all (yes you!) who have been shining stars!
Our children will remember things from this trip to share with
*your* grandchildren and *their* grandchildren for years to come.
Blessings! THW

All are doing well :-)

Internet, both by phone and in the room, has been sporadic at best. Several of the posts I sent through the phone haven't showed on the internet side yet :-)

Today is our last day of the trip and it's a shopping day in London! Most everyone is out and about in the city looking for those last ways to "lose pounds" before the trip home :-)

Everyone is tired but I think pleased as well with our Dublin/London adventures! Shopping seems to have ruled the day on many days!

As in any trip, we've had our share of fantastic days, tired days and days of unusual events! I know you will hear many stories of the adventures :-) Take a moment and write them down to read again down the road!

We'll keep posting photos and events to the blog - hopefully in order of the days that you see below - so check back often for a while!

The Chorale and Parents send deepest sympathies to the Ballard/Mann family as Jack C Ballard is laid to rest today. His wife, daughter and granddaughter returned from London in midst trip upon his passing.

From Ireland -

May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
and rains fall softly on your fields.

Until we meet again, may God hold you
in the hollow of His hand.

A little cool.. but doing well

Here's the "crew" in front of College of Christ Church. We had a good walk around the different colleges and grounds of Oxford before touring this college.

A good day!

We toured the colleges that make up Oxford University today! This is truly a college town with many many colleges combined into Oxford University.

One, the College of Christ Church, is famous not only for its excellent students, but, if you saw any of the Harry Potter movies, you will recognize the Great Hall where we stood today.

We also passed the green where Harry "learned to fly" in the first movie. A good concert tonight was preceeded by a nice traditional pub meal of Fish and Chips.

Tomorrow is a free day for touring free museums or shopping - using up the last of the pounds in billfolds.

One can lose 20 pounds in a matter of moments in London. :)

Now- figure out why we could NOT go see the London Btidge! Guesses anyone?

We are in oxford!

Having a great time in Oxford today! Connections have been limited.
So I hope this gets posted! All is well :)

On the road again!

After a very successful concert and well attended concert (which made the Irish National Newspaper!) the International Messiah tour moves to London today!
The chamber orchestra and organ, combined with the acoustics of the church made for an exciting evening in ChristChurch - Dublin!
We're packed and ready for an early departure and a short flight to London!
Happy New Year to one and all!

Messiah performance was great!
